hot take on search and AI
AI results at the top of search results is a shit stupid idea. The top position should be the organic result or since it is google the top paid result.
Adding AI to all searches is also a shit stupid idea. Searching for something is not always a session where I am looking for dumbass AI babble.
If I am looking for the cheapest sunscreen I do not need to know anything more than that. I do not want to know about sunscreen or the history of it... I just need to know where I can buy it.
There are times when I might ask a more general question that I might be interested in some AI text but it is not EVERY TIME.
